Four different characters, four different behaviors. Copy one, then try it below.

A blank appearance does not mean the characters are equivalent.
No-Break Space joins text across a potential line break. Thin Space adds a smaller gap. Zero Width Space can offer a break without adding visible width. A blank username is a different task and depends on the receiving app.
The tester shows the text pasted here. Another app may remove, normalize or reject it. If possible, copy your text back from that app and inspect it again. A successful copy here does not prove acceptance elsewhere.
Open the shared bottom history bar after copying. Blank-only items show a visible marker, a count and their codes so you can recognize them. Copying the item still copies its original characters.
Character references: Latin-1 Supplement, General Punctuation and Hangul Compatibility Jamo. Sample widths depend on your font. The pale highlight marks the character’s position.
Choose a visible decoration or a different letter style.
Choose one of the four character cards and click Copy. Only that character is copied, without the visible brackets or sample letters. Paste into the tester below to see its code point.
For a gap that keeps words together, try No-Break Space. For a narrow gap, try Thin Space. Zero Width Space has no visible width. Hangul Filler is a blank-looking letter. Choose by the text behavior you need rather than assuming they are interchangeable.
It is not guaranteed. Each service decides which characters a name field accepts and may remove or normalize blank characters. Test in the destination and use a visible name if a blank one is rejected.
A blank-looking character still has a Unicode code point. The tester counts code points and labels the four blanks offered here. Emoji combinations may contain several code points even when they look like one symbol.
The tester runs in this page. It does not save your input or read your clipboard automatically. Characters you explicitly copy with the cards are saved in the shared local history, just like other symbols.
